Indonesian media Akuntabel reports that on January 14, 2026, GFT’s factory in Ngawi Regency, Indonesia, officially activated its rooftop solar power system with a total capacity of 830 kWp. The system, developed in collaboration with WEnergy Global, is expected to meet approximately one-quarter to one-third of the factory’s electricity needs and reduce carbon emissions by about 864 metric tons annually. GFT stated that this marks a significant step in fulfilling its clean energy and carbon reduction commitments, and plans to add another 570 kWp of capacity by mid-2026.
