About Quality Management Director (Stationed at Vietnam HaiDuong)

Job description

Lead the Quality Engineering department, Quality Management System (QMS), and quality assurance disciplines throughout the Asia Pacific Region
Manage the QMS to ensure compliance to ISO9001, AS9100, and other supporting standards
Partner with Program Managers and project teams to provide quality solutions and improvements in support of key customers
Represent the company and work directly with our customers, ensuring quality standards are met
Work closely with multiple sites in Asia on best practice sharing and lessons learned
Define and establish continuous improvement standards and drive culture throughout Asia Pacific
Manage inhouse testing laboratories in Vietnam.

Job requirements

Full understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO17025 quality system standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese & English
Ability to influence, lead, and motivate at all levels in the organization
Technical literacy, problem solving and critical thinking skills
In-depth knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures
Experience working with toy quality requirements
General knowledge of statistics and statistical process control
Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and standards
Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives such as 6S, 8D, Poke Yoke, Jidoka, Andon, Zero Defect Methodology, DOE, PFMEA’s, TPM
Proficiency in structured problem solving and leading others in root cause and corrective/Preventative action analysis
Station in Vietnam and frequent travel is required
