Requires at least 3 years of full product development cycle experience in plush toys or sewn textile products (such as fabric dolls, etc.).
Familiar with the entire process from product concept design transformation, prototyping, pilot production to mass production.
Able to independently lead the development and implementation of at least two mature plush toy products, which have been mass-produced and launched on the market.
Proficient in the technical requirements and operating standards of various sewing techniques (such as straight stitching, overlocking, hemming, quilting, etc.).
Familiar with the performance parameters and adjustment methods of various sewing equipment (such as industrial sewing machines, computerized embroidery machines, stuffing machines, etc.).
Able to optimize sewing process plans based on product materials (such as plush fabric, knitted fabric, woven fabric, etc.) and structural characteristics, and solve production issues such as skipped stitches, fabric wrinkling, and uneven stitch length.
Experienced in the selection, testing, and application of plush fabrics, filling materials (such as PP cotton, down cotton, memory foam, etc.), and accessories (such as buttons, zippers, embroidery threads, etc.).
Able to select cost-effective materials based on product functional requirements (e.g., infant toys must meet safety standards, outdoor toys must be wear-resistant) and cost budget.
Familiar with environmental protection and safety standards for various materials (such as GB 6675, EN 71, ASTM F963, etc.).
Experienced in collaborating with design, purchasing, production, and quality inspection departments to advance projects; able to clearly communicate with the design team and convert design drawings into manufacturable technical documents.
Also able to cooperate with the purchasing department in supplier evaluation, assist the production department in developing production plans, resolve technical bottlenecks during mass production, and ensure on-time project delivery.
Experienced in cost estimation and control for plush toys and sewn products; capable of reducing production costs through process optimization (e.g., reducing sewing steps, improving material utilization) and rational material selection. Must have past project experience demonstrating over 10% improvement in production efficiency or more than 8% cost reduction.
Familiar with quality inspection standards and procedures for plush toys and sewn products, and able to establish key quality control points (such as seam strength, filling uniformity, and accessory firmness).
Capable of handling mass production quality issues; has led the resolution of at least one major product quality risk, with subsequent defect rates controlled below 2%.
Familiar with domestic and international safety regulations and standards related to plush toys (such as China’s GB 6675-2014, EU REACH Regulation, and U.S. CPSIA).
Experienced in participating in product compliance testing and certification to ensure products meet the entry requirements of target markets, with no history of product recalls or market complaints due to non-compliance.
