Foreman (Mandarin)

Job description

Supervise and coordinate assembly line activities to ensure production targets are met
Assign tasks and manage assembly workers according to their capacity and skills
Ensure assembly processes comply with SOPs, quality standards, and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations
Monitor daily output, efficiency, and production downtime
Identify and resolve production issues (defects, bottlenecks, machinery, or material problems)
Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure product quality meets standards
Conduct daily briefings and short training sessions (on-the-job training) for operators
Oversee the use of materials, tools, and machinery to ensure efficiency and safety
Prepare daily production reports and submit them to supervisors
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing)

Job requirements

Experience in assembly/manufacturing area
Understand assembly processes and product quality standards
Able to lead a team and work under target pressure
Understand basic occupational health and safety (OHS) and production discipline
Able to communicate in Mandarin
