Construction of New Plant in Indonesia!

We are thrilled to announce that since 2023, GFT has commenced planning for the construction of a new production base in Indonesia . This significant initiative aims to meet the company’s growing business demands and further strengthen our competitive position in the international market.

The new plant will occupy a vast area of exactly 198,420 square meters, located in East Java. This expansive land will become a crucial production base for us in Indonesia, providing ample space and potential for our business development. By 2025, we will need to recruit 3,000 workers; the following year will require a total of 4,500 workers, and by 2029, we anticipate the need to employ up to 8,500 workers. Currently, we have already begun the recruitment process for local talent to join GFT and embark on this new chapter together. Our plans involve constructing a modern factory on this land, equipped with state-of-the-art production equipment and technology. This will enable us to enhance production efficiency and deliver high-quality products to our customers. The strategic location of the new plant offers excellent advantages, with a transportation time of approximately 2 hours from the port. This will allow us to operate logistics more flexibly and conveniently provide product supply services to our customers. We are proud to announce the continued support of existing key customers, some of whom have already committed to placing orders at our new plant.

According to our plans, construction of the new plant will begin in January 2024, with trial production expected to commence in early 2025. During this time, we will conduct trial runs and make thorough preparations to ensure smooth operations in our new facility.

In 2023, after multiple on-site inspections, we secured the purchase of the land. By the first quarter land filling work will be completed. The construction of each factory will be carried out consecutively.

In terms of factory planning, apart from establishing the necessary production facilities for each production process, we also place great importance on the working environment and welfare of our employees. To ensure employees have sufficient rest during their work breaks the new factory will have be equipped with ample rest areas and recreational facilities, including dormitories and recreation rooms. Additionally, to respect and accommodate the traditional cultures and religions of Indonesia, prayer rooms will be set up in the new factory, providing employees with a pleasant space for prayer and the ability to participate in traditional religious activities. This prayer room will become a part of our company culture, demonstrating our respect and value for multiculturalism.

We will be introducing mature robotic arms and automation technology already in use at our Vietnam factories into our new plant in Indonesia. The implementation of this technology will greatly enhance our efficiency and productivity. Robotic arms are capable of performing various repetitive tasks, thereby saving on manpower resources and increasing production speed. Automation technology can also improve the accuracy and consistency of the production process, reducing the risk of human error. We believe that the integration of this technology will enable our new factory in Indonesia to maintain competitiveness in the market and provide higher-quality products to our customers.

Solar Panels

We are planning to construct solar panels at our factory in Indonesia. The use of solar panels offers various environmental benefits, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, decreasing reliance on non-renewable energy sources, and promoting clean and sustainable energy production. By harnessing solar power, we contribute to global efforts to mitigate climate change and protect the Earth’s natural resources. Wastewater Treatment

We will build a wastewater treatment plant in our factory in Indonesia. Wastewater treatment offers several environmental benefits that contribute to the overall well-being of ecosystems and human populations:

Water Quality Improvement: Wastewater treatment plays a crucial role in improving water quality. The plant will remove pollutants and contaminants from wastewater.
Protection of Human Health: Proper wastewater treatment helps protect public health by minimizing the risk of waterborne diseases. Wastewater often contains pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and parasites, which can cause illnesses if released untreated into the environment. Treatment processes reduce the potential for waterborne infections and safeguarding human well-being.

Our New Factory will be using pioneer technology for its manufacturing process.

This advanced technology “flexible matrix fixture” for toy manufacturing especially for metal toy car assembly field that to provide the universal solution to apply different toy car shell product with various feature and profile by their matrix flexible adjustable and lockable support pins which can adjust the height of each support pin according to product outlook feature and lock them accordingly and automatically, so that it helps the metal toy car assembly automation improve the product coverage, minimize the changeover duration, improve the quality.

Flexible and Smart Robotic Gripper

This advanced technology “flexible & smart robotic gripper is a flexible pneumatic gripper embedded with a special airbag structure, which generates different actions depending on the pressure difference in between internal and external of the gripper. With positive pressure input, the flexible gripper tends to grip tightly, adaptively wrapping around the surface of an object to complete the grasping action. With negative pressure input, the gripper opens up, releasing the object. In certain specific situations, it can achieve internal support for grasping.
