Develop and implement the Group EHS Management System across all subsidiaries (manufacturing plants). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following key tasks:
Handle EHS compliance matters for different customers and regulatory authorities.
Develop Group EHS manuals and standards; provide guidance and support to factories in establishing EHS regulations and operating procedures.
Identify EHS-related high-risk factors and communicate with factory management to implement corrective actions.
Collect incident/accident data, analyze trends, and develop control measures for factories.
Conduct accident investigations and train factory EHS personnel on proper reporting and investigation procedures.
Establish practical EHS objectives and drive implementation at factories.
Build EHS teams and assign EHS leaders for specialized teams.
Assist factories in establishing EHS management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Develop energy-saving strategies and plans based on factory energy consumption.
Supervise factory EHS teams in conducting inspections according to legal requirements and coordinate corrective actions with department heads.
Implement Permit-to-Work (PTW) management and provide guidance and training to factory EHS teams.
Conduct machine safety assessments and develop corrective action plans.
Provide guidance and support for regular EHS & CSR Committee meetings in compliance with legal requirements.
Ensure fire protection systems are properly maintained and compliant with local regulations.
Ensure environmental protection facilities are properly maintained and compliant with local regulations.
Monitor occupational hazards, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and develop solutions to protect employees.
Develop EHS training programs based on risk assessments and employee awareness levels.
Develop ESG procedures and implementation plans in accordance with local regulations.
Provide proper EHS assessment training and promote implementation across factories.
Assist in CSR-related audits conducted by third parties or customers.
Assist in other CSR and EHS-related assignments assigned by the EHS & CSR General Manager.
Serve as the most authoritative and up-to-date source of EHS compliance knowledge.
Effectively communicate with department heads regarding EHS corrective actions.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with government officials regarding EHS compliance matters.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or related disciplines.
At least 5 years of experience in Safety, Environmental, and Occupational Health Management, including a minimum of 2 years of team management experience.
Major in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of social compliance standards, including IETP (ESCP), RBA, S-META, and related requirements.
Familiar with machine safety assessment methodologies, such as PLr.
Preference will be given to candidates holding ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certificates.
Experience in the toy manufacturing industry is preferred.
Strong communication skills with department heads and stakeholders; outgoing personality.
Excellent capability in dealing with government authorities on EHS matters and maintaining good relationships with relevant agencies.
Thorough knowledge of QCVN / TCVN safety standards and regulations.
Intermediate or above proficiency in spoken Chinese.
Intermediate English reading and writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and email communication.
