Create high-precision freeform surface models, detailed sculpting, and surface refinement using FreeForm based on design sketches, reference images, physical prototypes, and 3D scan data, ensuring accurate reproduction of the intended product design.
Perform reverse engineering based on 3D scan data, including point cloud repair, surface reconstruction, and generation of editable CAD models that meet industrial standards.
Optimize models for manufacturing by performing part splitting, mold separation, draft angle creation, wall thickness adjustment, and other engineering modifications suitable for injection molding, 3D printing, and mass production.
Collaborate with structural and tooling engineers to complete model integration, interference checks, engineering revisions, and generate production files while supporting prototype validation and mass production.
Maintain project documentation, model version control, and ensure smooth project execution.
Minimum 2 years of experience in FreeForm modeling. Experience with designer toys, collectible figures, handicrafts, or precision freeform surface products is preferred. Outstanding fresh graduates may also be considered.
Proficient in FreeForm software. Extensive experience in part splitting is essential. The primary responsibility involves precision part splitting for toy products, with solid knowledge of toy structures, including locating features, snap-fit structures, step features, and orientation features.
Proficient in Geomagic, ZBrush, or other supporting software, with experience in reverse engineering, point cloud processing, surface reconstruction, and model optimization.
Familiar with basic mold structures, injection molding processes, part splitting, and draft angle design to prevent common manufacturing issues.
Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong communication and teamwork skills, able to adapt to design revisions and work under pressure.
