PIE Engineer

Putting new products into production：Participate in the thorough evaluation of the product structure at the early stage of the new product. Comprehensive analysis from the perspective of the feasibility of the technological process and put forward practical improvement proposals. Establish detailed technological process diagrams, standard operating instructions (SOPs) and reasonable time norms, ensuring that the products are both scientific and efficient when mass produced
Monitoring production trials and mass production: Closely monitor the entire production trial process, promote prototyping and promptly resolve arising problems, ensuring that the products enter the mass production stage smoothly. Take charge of the evaluation of fixture, jig, and mold designs, continuously optimize performance to improve product productivity and consistency
Cost and performance optimization：Participate in cost analysis, carry out continuous technological improvements to achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement goals. Work with relevant departments such as product structure, quality, PMC, plastic injection, etc. to improve inter-departmental coordination efficiency. Take charge of optimizing production line layout and redesigning technological processes, promoting the implementation of Lean Manufacturing in the factory
Document and standards management：Build and perfect the product manufacturing process documentation system, as an accurate basis for production and maintenance. Monitor the implementation of technical standards during the production process, assist in handling abnormal and quality problems, and ensure high-quality products

Professional Background: High school diploma or above, majors in mechanical, mold, or industrial engineering are preferred.
Work Experience: At least three years of relevant manufacturing or PIE engineering experience, with familiarity with toy production processes such as die-casting, injection molding, painting, and assembly. Industry experience will help you thrive in the role.
Skills: Proficiency in office and 2D software, with 3D preferred. Ability to accurately express your creative ideas in documents and drawings. Familiarity with processes such as bill of materials (BOM) structure, time accounting, and process improvement. Experience implementing lean manufacturing is a plus.
Competencies: Strong data analysis skills, able to identify problems and opportunities from data. Excellent cross-departmental communication and coordination skills, ensuring smooth information flow across departments. Proactive and responsible, with strong project execution skills and the ability to navigate complex work environments.
