Lean Project Implementation & Execution
Lead and implement lean improvement projects in assembly and packaging operations, focusing on waste elimination, process optimization, production line balancing, and manufacturing cost reduction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze production data, identify improvement opportunities, and continuously optimize manufacturing processes.
Data-Driven Production Improvement
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, OPE, and yield reports to identify production bottlenecks and efficiency losses, and develop practical improvement solutions.
Establish data tracking and visualization systems to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of lean initiatives.
Application of Lean Tools & Methodologies
Apply lean manufacturing tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standardized Work, SMED, 5S, and Kanban in assembly operations.
Design and optimize fixtures and jigs to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for supporting processes to ensure process consistency and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Business teams to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve production issues during pilot runs and mass production.
Support the evaluation and validation of new manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure alignment with lean manufacturing and productivity improvement objectives.
Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement
Document and standardize successful lean improvement projects, particularly in assembly operations, to establish best practices and reusable methodologies.
Support internal lean training and knowledge-sharing activities to strengthen lean awareness and practical problem-solving capabilities across teams.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience leading lean manufacturing initiatives and shop-floor continuous improvement projects.
Proven experience in lean manufacturing projects, particularly in assembly operations. Candidates should be able to demonstrate projects they have led or played a key role in, with measurable results such as productivity improvement, cost reduction, or yield enhancement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, visualize, and interpret production data to support decision-making.
Good command of English, with excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills. Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Willing to be based in Vietnam and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
